TVC Studios has been filming kids parties and family events in Almaty since 2008. We cover birthday parties, maternity discharge from the hospital, baby story sessions, school and kindergarten graduations. We use ZCAM E2 cinema cameras in 4K, not consumer cameras or DSLRs, so the footage holds up properly in color grading and looks like something worth watching years from now.

Birthday parties are the most common request. We arrive before the guests, capture the setup and the first moments of excitement, stay through the cake and dances, and leave after the event winds down. Kids act naturally when they forget the camera is there, and that is what we are after.
Maternity discharge is one of those moments that families wish they had captured properly. We come to the hospital, document the emotions, the gathering of relatives, the first ride home. It takes a couple of hours and you will have it forever.
Baby story sessions and family films are shot at home or on location in Almaty. These are short cinematic films about a specific stage in your child's life. School and kindergarten graduations we film with multiple cameras so every child gets screen time and every speech is captured cleanly.
Cinema cameras for family events
Most videographers in Almaty use mirrorless cameras or DSLRs. We use ZCAM E2 cinema cameras that shoot in 4K and 6K, recording in 10-bit Apple ProRes. That means 1.07 billion colors instead of 16 million, and footage that actually survives color grading without falling apart. For family videos we apply a warm, film-style grade in DaVinci Resolve that makes the footage feel like a real film rather than a home recording.
Audio recording
For events with speeches or performances, audio is recorded separately on a ZOOM F3 field recorder in 32-bit float. There is no clipping at any volume level. This matters for birthday parties where there is music, for graduation ceremonies where there are speeches, and for any event where the audio is part of the memory.
Working with children
Children do not perform on command. The best moments happen when they forget the camera exists. Our team stays patient and quiet, watches what is happening, and is ready when something real breaks out. We do not direct kids or ask them to look at the camera unless a family specifically wants that style.
